Member
- election: Elected by common, equal, direct and secret election of the eligible citizen

의회구성기구 중 의원 표입니다. 의원 선거권, 피선거권, 임기/보수/의원에 대한 설명을 확인할 수 있습니다.
Suffrage	The nation who is 19 or more years old and resident-registered in Gwacheon-city up to the date of announcement of election
Electoral eligibility	The person having suffrage of local council member, who is 25 or more years old and resident-registered in Gwacheon-city continuously up to the date of election to 60 days
Term of office / Remuneration / Members	4 years / Paid / 7 quota

Chairperson / Vice-chairperson
- Election : One chairperson and one vice-chairperson are elected among members by secret ballot in the general meeting.(Term of office 2years)
- Rights of chairperson : Council representative authority, agenda governing authority, Order maintenance authority, affairs supervising authority, etc.
- Vice-chairperson acting as chairperson : The vice-chairperson shall act as a chairperson in case of an accident(absence) of the chairperson.
- Temporary chairperson : A temporary chairperson is elected by direction of an extension member and acts as a chairperson in case of an accident (absence) of both a chairperson and a vice-chairperson.
General Meeting
- General Meeting : The meeting is a board of all the representatives and the organization to finalize the resolution.
- Held : It is held by the attention of one third of the registered members
- Determination : the general agendum are determined by majority attendance and majority consent (Except for special agendum)
Committee
- Committee : The function of preliminary review before the final review

Standing Committee	It is regularly organized by ordinances
Special Committee	A special committee is organized to temporarily review and processes a specific agenda under the resolution of the general meeting. Ex) the special committee for budget plans, the special committee for Administrative supervision (or, investigation), etc.
