To ensure fair, sincere and transparent Council activities amid citizen’s trust,
the following code of ethics is defined,
with which the Gwacheon City Council members promise to comply
- 1.Council members should take responsibility for sincere activity for the happiness of people.
- 2.Council members should take initiative in representing citizens’ intention, not any individual or interest group’s intention, and enhancing citizens’ welfare.
- 3.Council members disclose their remarks, activities and results related to Council affairs to citizens transparently and take responsibility for them.
- 4.Council members should not try to seek any private interests in relation to their work or exercise any unfair influence.
- 5.Council members should not utilize public secrets gained during work for a purpose other than public good.
- 6.Council members should continuously work to broadly communicate with citizens, research policies, nurture personality and build a Council respecting discussion and agreement.
